Do you procrastinate?

Acting is the most important first step toward success. But most people fear moving forward because they don’t know what the ultimate outcome will be.

Just leaning into it is a way to get started—without seeing the whole path—that gets an achiever into motion so that possibilities and opportunities and other forms of momentum can show up. They can see if they like the opportunity, career, relationship or other goal they’ve been dreaming about—perhaps for years.

So why not stop preparation, planning, research and other forms of procrastinating and JUST LEAN INTO IT?

Sometimes, success happens when you just lean into it—when you make yourself open to opportunities and are willing to do what it takes to pursue it further—without a contract, without a promise of success, without any expectation whatsoever.

You just start. “Success Principle #14 from Jack Canfield’s Success Principles – Just Lean into It” teaches us to start without knowing the whole path. You see what it feels like. And you find out if you want to keep going versus sitting on the side-lines deliberating, reflecting, and contemplating.

Now I can’t tell you what to do unless I’m prepared to do it myself so here’s a story for you.

I knew I was going to leave my full-time, so I started to try out other things that interested me to see if “the shoes fitted any better than the one’s I had”. I simply leaned into an opportunity that came my way.

Some ideas fell by the wayside and others starting sprouting seeds for me. The good news is that learning into the situation you find yourself in creates momentum. More resources appeared, more people surfaced that could help me which led to not only leaving my full-time job but also led to the opportunity of writing my latest book.

However, this blog is not about me, it’s about you.

Using examples from your own life I’d like you to look at your life. What are all those things you’ve been hesitating doing, delaying, postponing, procrastinating or flat out avoiding?

What are you going to do about it?

What are you going to do about it?
