Today marks the completion of the training for the staff involved in facilitating the head-to-head competition between two universities. I have been training staff in how to use the simulation for some time now so that they can use the software and monitor the progress of their teams.

Two teams of students from the University of Kent and Polyu in Hong Kong are going head-to-head in a competition to run the most profitable business on Saturday November 4th. Both teams are using our business simulation game SimVenture Evolution.

The teams from the UK and Hong Kong will run a virtual company for up to ten simulated years. Whilst they are playing tutors and trainers will be setting tasks, monitoring progress, communicating and assessing each businesses profitability from remote locations. The students will be accessing the game through cloud technology so that they can work 24/7.

There is already a strong competitiveness emerging between the teams as they start to practice running their virtual business because there are prizes to be won for the company that makes the most net profit. May the best team win!
